Justin Bieber 2 Billion YouTube Views – Justin Bieber has become the first person to reach 2 billion views on YouTube, surpassing Lady Gaga’s 1 billion record in 2010. According to social media monitoring company Famecount, the Canadian singing sensation has become the first person to get that amount on the video-sharing website.
The singer achieved the milestone over the weekend. Last year, Bieber narrowly missed making YouTube history when Lady Gaga beat him by days to the billion-view milestone. She now sits at No. 2 with 1.88 billion views.
In another popularity showdown, Justin could not top GaGa when it comes to Twitter followers. With nearly 14 million followers, leaving him behind the Mother Monster who has more than 15 million fans subscribing to her official account on the micro-blogging site.
Bieber himself has not commented on his 2 billion views mark on YouTube. In the last few hours, the teen pop idol has posted a series of tweets to promote his Christmas album “” which is due November 1.
Meanwhile, Rihanna comes in third place with 1.7 billion YouTube views and is currently the fastest-growing, while Eminem has 1.5 billion, With Shakira rounding out the top 5.
