Justin Bieber And Mariah Carey – The annual lighting of the Christmas tree at New York City’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” event saw a slew of performances from top musical acts Wednesday night, but the headliner Justin Bieber caught the most attention with the premiere of his latest video for the single “All I Want for Christmas is You” featuring Mariah Carey.
After performances by musicians like Michael Bublé, Katharine McPhee, Big Time Rush and legends Tony Bennett, Carole King and Neil Diamond, the teen heartthrob hit the stage at the packed event and performed tracks from his Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe.”
Bieber, 17, was even joined by Busta Rhymes for a performance of the track “Little Drummer Boy,” and left his fans swooning when he slowed the mood down when he was joined by Usher on “The Christmas Song.”
But the main event was the premiere of Bieber’s latest video, where he joins Mariah Carey for a version of her 1994 mega hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The two are seen singing in a department store, her in a sexy Santa Claus outfit and he doing some holiday shopping with some pals. Later in the clip Justin and Mariah hand out gifts to crowds in the store.
The classic hit from Carey’s album “Merry Christmas” was re-recorded by the 41-year-old diva and Justin Bieber, and appears on his new holiday record.
