Kailyn Lowry has finally confirmed the engagement rumors that have been going around for a couple of weeks now that she is indeed set to marry boyfriend Javi Marroguin.
“It’s true, we’re engaged!” the Teen Mom 2 star wrote on Twitter, accompanied with a photo of her diamond ring. The couple have been dating for about a year. She has a two-year-old son named Isaac with her ex-boyfriend Jo Riviera.
“Thank you all for being so supportive! No concrete wedding plans yet, but hopefully in the near future,” the 20-year-old wrote. And she joked: “Now all my followers can send me their wedding ideas! No, I’m totally joking! Haha.” But while some fans were quick to share their happiness, others were not so supportive, Yahoo’s OMG reported.
“That was quite rude,” a straight-talking Lowry told one. But they didn’t spoil her delight at her news.
Marroguin was equally happy, tweeting: “I love my fiancé @KailLowry! Couldn’t even dream about the way my life is turning out to be!”
Fellow Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska, 21, also shared some kinda words via Twitter, “Congrats you two!” she wrote. “So happy for you guys.”
Lowry originally appeared in the MTV show 16 And Pregnant before featuring in the spin off program Teen Mom 2.
The show follows her and three other mother as they attempt to cope with raising their children and getting their lives back on track.
