Kanye West will appear on Saturday Night Live, but he’s not too keen on any skits where people are making fun of his baby or Kim Kardashian, who will be the child’s mama.
Ben Affleck is set to be the host, which guarantees a big audience, as long as the Kardashian name is kept off the stage.
That’s because the 35-year-old rapper has a slight problem given that the NBC show loves to parody a certain family called the Kardashians, and has in fact already lampooned himself and “baby mama” Kim in one skit.
“Kanye as musical guest is a great get for SNL, but of course the writers want to push the envelope and take advantage of it with a Kim Kardashian skit,” a source at NBC told RadarOnline.
“That’s not unusual since her famous family has been spoofed before with some very hilarious and spot-on impersonations of a whining Kim. They have to tread lightly because Kanye hasn’t been happy with all the flack Kim’s been getting about her pregnancy weight gain.”
It’s definitely going to be a challenge — the writers don’t want to upset Kanye so they’re prepared not to cross the line, but they will go as far as they can.
West Will join Affleck where even the “baby mama” herself, Kim Kardashian, will appear in a cameo at the end of a skit on May 18.
