The Katie Couric Show welcomed Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart on Friday. The talk show host took the stage for a dance with Smart, which was secretly planned the day before the sit down with his girlfriend.
After four high school girls performed a routine, Smart walked out on stage and said, “I’m missing my dance partner.” Then he brought Couric up on the stage and unzipped the slit on her skirt. When the routine was over, the talk show host said what fun she had been planning and practicing the routing before it aired.
Then Lopez stood up and planted a passionate kiss and cuddle on her young boyfriend. After the long embrace the mega-star looked at Couric and joked, “I could kill you!” The host laughed back, “We punked J.Lo!”
The sexy routine was no doubt all in good fun.
The anchor woman turned daytime talk show host has recently gone public with the fact she is dating financier John Molner, 49, after splitting from longtime boyfriend Brooks Perlin, who was 17 years her junior.
But as the hostess recently told Parade magazine, she loathes being called a cougar.
“It’s silly and sexist,” she said when asked. “You don’t hear men who date women 30 years younger being called cougars.”
While interviewing Lopez, Couric joked about her own dating history, saying in a question about Smart, “This is a sensitive issue for me, but he’s 18 years younger.”
Couric, 55, has been single since lost her husband to cancer in 1998.
