Keith Olbermann new venture announced. Keith Olbermann, the former controversial anchorman from MSNBC, will speak about his new venture today via teleconference. He recently left media company MSNBC following months of disputes with the management.
Olbermann joined MSNBC in 2003 to host “Countdown.” He joined the network after being a reporter for ESPN. He remains a prominent voice for liberal America.
The 52-year-old political commentator established a niche in the cable news commentary. Olbermann gained recognition for his pointed criticism of major politicians and public figures. He also targets the “Tea Party” and the political right on a regular basis.
However, things aren’t that easy for Olbermann to quickly return to television. His contract might keep him off-the-air for another two-years, depending what the undisclosed conditions are. There are a lot of rumors on where he would land a new job, and there are certainly many independent networks that help renegotiate his contract with MSNBC.Entertainment News Join The Conversation
