Kendall Jenner wants a break from keeping up with her family, but just for five minutes.
In the May issue of Cosmopolitan, the 17-year-old model talked about how stressful it is to be scrutinized by the paparazzi every second of her life.
“Sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes,” she tells the magazine. “That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you.”
“I’m constantly criticized for being too skinny,” the 5-foot-10 Wihelmina model said. “I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen. What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. It’s not a nice feeling.”
“The show [Keeping up with the Kardashians] brought us everything we have, and I realize that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes. That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you,” she added.
When the reality star was asked about a possible “Keeping up with the Kardashians” spin-off for her and her younger sister Kylie she stated, “that’s not happening.”
“Modeling is my number-one priority — one hundred percent,” Jenner explains.
This issue of Cosmopolitan will hit news stands April 9.
