Kris Humphries wants the Kim Kardashian divorce trial to be televised for the world to see, since his marriage, which lasted only 72 days, was part of a reality TV show to score higher ratings.
If Kris Humphries gets his wish, he will face Kim Kardashian in a divorce trial and will certainly gain attention and viewers.
The NBA star believes if America watches the proceedings, they will see that his ex-wife is fake and his name will cleared, according to a report by TMZ.
Lee Hutton, a lawyer for Humphries says that the trial will prove that Kardashian used him as a marketing ploy for her reality show’s ratings, and never intended to stay married, and will ask the judge assigned to the case if they can have it televised to prove their point.
Humphries maintains that he was truly in love with Kardashian and wanted the marriage to last, but 72 days after the televised wedding event she filed for divorce. He wants to have the marriage annulled, citing the whole thing was a set up by her family to make money and fame.
In one scene of the the reality show, “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” Kardashian acts totally surprised by Humphries proposal of marriage. However one source close to the situation reported that, “Kim told Kris how, where and when to propose; it was absolutely no surprise to her whatsoever.”
