Kris Humphries couldn’t wait to mock Kanye West after signing a reported $24 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets, and he went on Twitter to write how he actually feels about some past events.
The NBA player, who is currently in the middle of a messy divorce from Kim Kardashian, took aim at the rapper in a public tweet that’s been buzzing ever since.
After signing with the team, who will assume their new home at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, this fall, Humphries took to Twitter to announce his good news and took a shot at West:
“I’m up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team lol,” he wrote.
Humphries wasted no time making reference to one of West’s lyrics from the song “Way Too Cold,” in which West refers to his romance with Kardashian and threatens to use his close friendship with Nets co-owner Jay-Z to have Humphries dropped from the team:
“And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim/Around the same time she had fell in love with him/ Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thang/ Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”
Surprisingly, West hasn’t responded to the tweet, but he does have the girl.
