Leann Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Engaged With Holiday Diamond Ring. LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian got engaged over the holidays. The singer was seen sporting a 5-carat oval diamond ring.

Apparently, the lovebirds spent Christmas at home together in Los Angeles. It is common knowledge that Rimes had a well-publicized extra-marital affair with Cibrian prior to the split from her husband, Dean Sheremet. In addition, Cibrian left his wife Brandi Glanville for Rimes.

On June 11 2010, in an attempt to sweep his mess under the carpet, Cibrian issued a statement to E! Online asking his ex-wife to stop talking about his affair with Rimes stating: "I can't change the past and I'm truly sorry that people got hurt along the way but not everything reported in the media is reality and continuing to rehash things publicly only makes it more difficult for everyone to heal. I hope for the sake of our children we can all move forward and heal privately. I wish their mother nothing but the best."

Cibrian and Glanville have two sons together, Mason and Jake. Their divorce was finalized on September 30 2010, less than 3 months ago. They were married for eight years.
