Lohan Cease and Desist letter to family. Lindsay Lohan has sent a cease and desist letter to her father Michael. The cease and desist letter was sent by Lohan, claiming that her father is selling her personal property.

Cease and desist letters are a legal matter forces the recipient to comply. In this case, Lindsay Lohan alleges that her father Michael is trying to sell her personal diary. The letter was sent by her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley.

The diary was written by Lohan while she was at Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehabilitation program in 2007. According to Holley, her client had no idea that Michael was in possession of the diary and thinks his alleged attempts to sell it are “shameful.” Michael was also threatened with a lawsuit for damages and “grave invasion of privacy” if the diary is sold.

Michael has now moved to Los Angeles to be closer to his daughter. He admitted that Lindsay wants nothing to do with him at the moment but he hopes she’ll change her mind once she’s “clean and sober.” He blames his ex-wife Dina for the problems. “If wedges hadn’t been put between us and people didn’t use children as pawns,” Michael said, referencing ex-wife Dina, “a lot of the problems suffered by children wouldn’t happen.”
