Lori Loughlin is dashing more Full House reunion hopes with John Stamos and co-stars, but this time she isn’t spilling the beans about her old flame. Even though she’s been spotted with the cast, the actress is still keeping her distance.
The 49-year-old has also been spotted fairly regularly while hanging out with the cast of the sitcom, which aired from 1987 to 1995.
This has only prompted rumors that Loughlin, Stamos, Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier or Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are about to have a “Full House” reunion.
“Oh, my goodness. Well, we’ll never know, right?” she told E! News about her relationship with Stamos at the opening of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Thursday. “I will always love John, always.”
However, Loughlin didn’t make make it sound as if the wholesome TV family would be moving back into their San Francisco-style home anytime soon. In fact, it seemed as if Mr. Woodchuck’s jokes would have to actually be funny before they were all back under one, televised roof.
More than 10 years after the series said goodbye, fans are still hoping for a full-cast family reunion. And no, we’re not talking about a birthday party reunion. What about a big-screen feature film?
“I don’t think that there are any plans for a movie,” Loughlin said. “If it were a really good script and a great project, but sometimes I think that it’s better off to leave those TV shows as they were and not do reunion shows.”
They are either testing the waters for what may work in the future, or these cast members just love to hang out together.
