Madonna has hired Georgia May Jagger as her new model for the Material Girl clothing line, which launched in 2010 and will expand to Europe and Australia this summer, to replace Kelly Osbourne. It’s hard to believe that she was born in 1992.
“To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing,” Jagger said in a statement. “I’ve always admired Madonna’s style and I’m thrilled to be working with them.”
The youngest daughter of ’70s supermodel Jerry Hall and Jagger didn’t inherit her mother’s height, (she’s only 5’7″) but she’s already landed a steady modeling contract with Rimmel makeup, and has appeared in Hudson Jeans and H&M ads.
In fact, she is also the face of Rimmel cosmetics and has appeared in ads for H&M and Hudson Jeans and on the cover of magazines including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar UK March issue. She is currently featured in a charity campaign, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
She now follows in the footsteps of past Material Girl celebrity spokesmodels Kelly Osbourne and Taylor Momsen.
The faces of Material Girl have one thing in common: They all are rock stars…or are at least related to one.
