Mark McGrath has married his longtime girlfriend, Carin Kingsland, after 18 years. McGrath and Kingsland exchanged vows in front of about 60 friends and family members in Southern California. The couple have 2-year-old twins, son Lydon and daughter Hartley, who also served as the ring bearer and flower girl.

“After 18 years of breakups, makeups, beautiful twins and an unwavering love that provided some pretty damn good song lyrics, we are happy to announce that we are finally married!” the 44-year-old Sugar Ray frontman told People.
McGrath, 44, proposed to Kingland, 39, on New Year’s Eve 2009 at the Los Angeles club, Viper Room, the same spot where they met in 1994. It’s the first marriage for the couple.
Following the success of their U.S. summer tour with contemporaries Everclear, Lit, Gin Blossoms and Marcy Playground, Sugar Ray will return to the road for a South American tour in October.
Recently, McGrath took time to reflect upon the summer tour and also assured AA that he would be releasing new music in the near future; what remains to be seen though is if it is yet another Sugar Ray album or his first solo record to date.
Although the Summerland Tour was not made a reality until this year, it was actually an idea that McGrath and Art Alexakis (Everclear) had been throwing around for quite some time. The two musicians knew they wanted to create a tour that would feature some of the greatest acts of the ’90s, but they were uneasy about when the opportune time for the festival would be.
Looking back on Summerland, it would certainly be fair to deem the tour a success, especially considering that none of the groups featured on the bill have released a radio hit in about a decade.
