Mark Wahlberg, better known as Marky Mark in the 90’s, discusses a reunion with the Funky Bunch. The now successful actor got his start with the hip hop group in the early 90’s as their frontman.
It seems Wahlberg may have changed his mind about the idea of reuniting with his former crew which included Scottie Gee, DJ-T, Ashey Ace, and Hector the Booty Inspector.
In 2012, Mark told Moviefone that music was totally done for him. However, in a recent interview with the UK’s Heat magazine he seems to have changed his tune.
“Well, the Funky Bunch wants to get back out there,” Wahlberg told Heat magazine. “I’ve just got to find the right time. We might, though.”
Wahlberg’s most recent films include: “Contraband,” “Broken City,” and “Pain & Gain.”
His reps have not commented on the possibility of a reunion.
