Michael C. Hall Divorce Final: ‘Dexter’ Still Works With Jennifer Carpenter

Michael C. Hall – Showtimes “Dexter” stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter announced their divorce a year ago and it is now officially over. This still doesn’t sit well with fans.

AceShowbiz reports that the couple, who played on-screen siblings in Dexter, had their dissolution of marriage completed by Superior Court Judge John Sandoz in Los Angeles on Friday, December 2. Court filings state the details of the division of property will remain confidential.

The couple was married in December of 2008, eloping on New Year’s Eve, 2008 in California, and despite the divorce, Carpenter has said she and Michael remain close, and that their working environment on the Showtime drama remains great despite their personal history.

Additionally, Zap2it points out that show, currently in its sixth season, was just renewed for two more seasons, so barring serial killer Dexter killing Debra off, the pair will be working together for awhile longer.

Hall plays Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who works for the Miami Police Department who targets other murderers as his victims on the hit Showtime series.

The series has been nominated for 19 Primetime Emmy Awards, awarded in the category of both Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, for Michael C. Hall, 3 times in a row, from 2008 through to 2010.
