Michael Jackson memorabilia is still popular, even his own hair, which will be turned into a roulette ball. The hair was retrieved from at the Carlyle Hotel in New York prior to his death where he stayed for a night. Now it will be used a ball for people to gamble at a roulette table.
As weird as it sounds, an online gambling website has purchased the lock at the price of $10,871.
It was purchased by OnlineGamblingPal.com from a memorabilia seller called “Gotta Have Rock & Roll.”
“As its proud new owners, we have decided to convert Michael Jackson’s hair into a roulette ball – an appropriately unique way to immortalize a small part of a truly peerless entertainer,” the casino said.
It sounds very strange to me, but it’s legit and the buyer can do whatever he wants with it.
OnlineGamblingPal.com released this statement:
“The ball itself will be made to the highest professional standards, ensuring it will be eligible for use at any licensed casino’s roulette table.”
Traditionally, roulette balls are made with a high density plastic. Most likely the hair would be melted in with the plastic to create the ultimate hair ball.
