Michael Lohan Formally Charged And Faces Prison

Michael Lohan Charged – Michael Lohan was formally charged Tuesday in connection with his double arrests last month for allegedly harassing ex-girlfriend Kate Major.

Lohan, 51, could face up to four years behind bars for misdemeanor charges that include domestic violence, violation of a domestic injunction, resisting arrest without violence and violating a condition of pretrial release, TMZ reported.

The Lohan family patriarch was arrested October 27 for allegedly making harassing phone calls to Major, less than 12 hours after he was released from jail on domestic violence charges in a separate Major-related incident.

Lohan was first arrested October 25 after Major, a 28-year-old former tabloid journalist, claimed he turned violent at her Tampa, Fla., apartment — allegedly threatening her when she refused to perform a sex act on him.

Hours after his release from jail October 27, Lohan allegedly made harassing phone calls to Major.

When police confronted Lohan at his hotel to arrest him a second time, he jumped off a third story balcony in an attempt to evade capture.

The father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was caught after falling into a tree.
