Actress and singer Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to clear up recent reports suggesting she has anorexia. The rumors started after she debuted a leaner body and continues to look more slender than she did two weeks ago.
Cyrus, 19, insists she’s eating; she’s just on a new health plan and wants fans to know that she’s not suffering from an eating disorder.
“For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy. It’s not about weight it’s about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!,” Cyrus Tweeted. “@RealFloydCyrus everyone should try no gluten fora week! The change in your skin, phyisical and mental health is amazing! U won’t go back!”
The singer-actress mentioned that she ate a lot at Easter brunch, adding, “all of it was healthy and even more fulfilling! Health is happiness!” She is ramping up her workouts and sporting a thinner frame, but then Cyrus tweeted a photo of herself inhaling the contents of a Carl’s Jr. takeout bag and wrote, “I can’t eat it. So I’m just gonna smell the shittttt out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering.”
The comment, coupled with her recent weight loss, caused concern for some fans, so on April 9, Cyrus took to Twitter again to explain that she couldn’t eat the fast food from the photo because she’s allergic to it:
Cyrus stars in the new movie, “LOL,” with Ashley Greene and Demi Moore, and will also appear in “So Undercover” alongside Jeremy Piven.
