Miranda Lambert has announced a winter concert tour.
Miranda Lambert joins a growing list of country artists who will be embarking on major winter tours. The “On Fire” tour will support her upcoming fourth album, “Four The Record,” due out next month. It all kicks off January 12 in Rockford, Illinois with 34 cities announced to date.
Joining the country singer on the road will be two of her Sony Music label-mates, Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. “I’m looking forward to the tour and playing some new music from ‘Four The Record’ and kicking some attitude,” she said in a press release. “Chris and Jerrod have great shows, and we’re gonna have a lot of fun out there this year, and it will be a great year with our fans'”
“I’m really fired up about touring with Miranda. I’ve admired her talent over the years and I’m looking forward to spending the first part of 2012 on the road with her and Jerrod,” Young said.
Niemann says, “Miranda is as real as it gets. I’m proud to be a fan and thankful to be a friend. I look forward to joining her tour next year and catching up with my good buddy Chris Young.”
Lambert gained fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, where she finished in third place and later signed to Epic Records. Lambert made her debut with the release of “Me and Charlie Talking”, the first single from her 2005 debut album Kerosene. This album, which was certified Platinum in the United States, also produced the singles “Bring Me Down,” “Kerosene,” and “New Strings.” All four singles were Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

In 2011, Lambert married fellow country singer Blake Shelton. She also released “Baggage Claim,” the first single from Four the Record, and collaborated with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Pressley in the side project Pistol Annies.
