The Neely divorce of the popular Food Network stars has been confirmed, as the couple are ending their 20-year marriage. Gina and Pat Neely have split after two decades of marriage. The couple are the stars of their own Food Network popular cooking show.

They released the following statement:

“Today we announce that we are ending our marriage of 20 years for irreconcilable differences … This was a tough decision, but we believe it is the best decision for us. As parents of two beautiful adult daughters that we love dearly, we will continue to be involved in each other’s lives as parents and friends.”

The Neely divorce comes as a big surprise to fans, who have watched the pair cook up delicious meals together on TV. Their statement continued:

“Together we have built a strong brand as The Neely’s … Moving forward our focus will be on our individual brands and we are optimistic about our respective futures. We ask for your prayers as we go through this transition and honor our request for privacy at this time.”

The high school sweethearts married in 1994 and are parents to daughters Shelbi and Spenser, the latter being Gina’s child from her first marriage. This was the second marriage for both. Those who knew the pair closely are also surprised by the Neely divorce.

Pat and Gina charmed on Food Network for years on their two shows, “Down Home With the Neelys” and “Road Tested With the Neelys,” before focusing solely on their restaurants and other ventures. They have also appeared as guests on a number of other Food Network shows. The couple beamed at each other while they booked and diced onions on the show.

It was common for the pair to compliment each other during the show’s 11 seasons. They have a Memphis barbecue restaurant in New York City, and closed the Memphis location of the restaurant last year. They own a total of four properties together, which will be interesting how the real estate is handled in the Neely divorce.

Gina is currently working on a new line of Green Giant products. Pat has a partnership with Family Dollar, which helps people shop for food on a budget. Each Neely is already working on their own brand.

Prior to the Neely divorce, the two pursued individual projects in the past year. Gina Neely lost 20 lbs. doing a weight-loss challenge with the George Foreman Grill brand. Pat has recently appeared solo working on at least two projects.
