Nick Cannon Hospitalized – Nick Cannon, the husband of Mariah Carey, has been hospitalized after suffering from a mild kidney failure. The news of the America’s Got Talent host came from Carey herself as she tweeted her husband’s condition on her Twitter account Wednesday. With a picture of herself laying next to her husband in his Aspen Colorado hospital bed she tweeted:
“Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman,” she wrote.
The pic was later reposted on Carey’s website with a caption stating:
“This is us in the hospital — role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.”
The couple has been married since 2008 and Carey is 10 years older then Cannon. Last year Mariah gave birth to the couples twins.
Cannon got his start as a sketch comedian on the show “All That” for Nickelodeon and later “The Nick Cannon Show.” He has released one self-titled rap album. Currently he is the host of America’s Got Talent and chairman of “TeenNick.”
There was word given as to what caused Cannon’s kidney failure, he has no known history of health problems.
