Gwyneth Paltrow says that Met Gala was no fun, but now she backtracks by stating she was thrilled to create her dress for the event. It was probably a huge mistake that shook her public relationships office.
“The Met Ball, at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, is always the year’s most elaborate display of incredible fashion and this year was no different,” Paltrow writes on her blog.
“The theme was ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ and when the house of Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri asked me to join them, I was thrilled to see what they would create with my right fashion hand, Elizabeth Saltzman,” the actress said.
Paltrow went on to say that she got really inspired about punk on a comeback adding that she worked alongside SSENSE to work the punk vibe into her spring/summer wardrobe.
On May 9th, however, the Academy Award winning actress told the USA Today she would “never” go to the Gala again.
“It was so un-fun. It was boiling,” she said. “I did not enjoy it at all.”
However, Paltrow has corrected that statement with her recent blog post.
