Pamela Anderson will play the Virgin Mary in a new Christmas TV special.
Anderson says she is set to play the mother of Jesus in a Russell Peters Christmas Special. Presented by Canadian TV and The Comedy Network, the show will mix, stand-up, sketch comedy, stop-motion animation, and musical performances.
It should be interesting watching Pamela attempt to fill the shoes.
The show will air on December 1, 2011.
The former Playboy model played the Genie of the Lamp in the holidaytime panto Aladdin, at both the Liverpool Empire, and at the New Wimbledon Theatre. She is best known for her work on the television series Baywatch, and was recently featured on Dancing With the Stars.
In addition to Pamela playing the Virgin Mary, the show will feature performances by Canadian singer Michael Buble and comedian Jon Lovitz.
“Peters puts his own irreverent twist on the Christmas special,” a statement from CTV read.
Anderson, who was born in Canada and is the mother of two teenage boys, is best known for her role on beach drama Baywatch.
