Paris Hilton owes $160K, lawsuit says. Paris Hilton may owe as much as $160,000 over her ‘Pledge This’ 2006 movie. Hilton’s movie was a flop, and a Florida judge favors a lawsuit that could make her pay $160K in losses.

Hilton is now in the midst of another brewing controversy. A judge has ruled against the socialite over a breach-of-contract lawsuit. It has to do with some investors and the “Pledge This!” movie that flopped in 2006.

Florida U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno ruled that the 29-year-old starlet violated the terms of her contract. Hilton was scheduled to do interviews with members of the media in Britain and Russia to promote the film. However, she failed to comply by not conducting the interviews.

The lost promotional opportunities were valued at around $160,000, the amount Hilton will likely owe the film’s producers, Worldwide Entertainment Group. The investors were initially seeking $8.3 million. The lawsuit is the latest setback for Paris Hilton, who is already facing felony cocaine possession charges in Las Vegas.
