Prince Michael Jackson, eldest child of the late “King of Pop,” is trying his hand at acting. The 16-year-old will be making his acting debut on the fifth season finale of the 90210 series.
Jackson will be playing a trauma victim named Cooper, who learns at young age how precious life really is.
In addition to his acting role, Jackson is joining the Entertainment Tonight crew as an on-air correspondent. “I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor,” Jackson told ET’s Brooke Anderson last week. “I’ve been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed.”
His first interview was with James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi about their new movie, Oz the Great and Powerful. He is hopeful that he will eventually get to interview Sir Peter Robert Jackson.
“Peter Jackson, I love his movies. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and King Kong. I just love the way he shoots (and how) he brings things and depicts it back to life. I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together.”
90210 airs on the CW on Monday nights, 9 p.m.; Jackson’s episode is slated to for April.
