Big day for Rapper T.I. jumper Atlanta after he saves a life. The Atlanta Rapper aided police in a suicide intervention where a jumper was on the ledge of a building. Rapper T.I. joined the crowd outside the 22-story office complex in Midtown and wanted to help them in their rescue.

Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. better known by his stage name T.I. or T.I.P., aided Atlanta police in the suicide intervention. According to police the man agreed to come down in exchange for a few minutes face-to-face with T.I. “I told him it ain’t that bad. It’ll get better, to put the time and effort into making it better,” the recording artist said in a statement. “I just reminded him know that I know. It looks bad right now, but it can turn around.”

T.I. heard about the situation on the radio and drove to the building to aid in the rescue. In order to prove to the jumper that the rapper was really there, he recorded a video of himself on a cell phone and rescue workers took it to the man. The man seemed to be “beat up by life.”

The unnamed man was taken to a local hospital. However, T.I.’s good deed didn’t help him in court on Friday. A judge ordered him back to prison for 11 months after a parole violation last month in Los Angeles, California.
