Famed Actress Rita Hayworth Grandson Autopsy Inconclusive; Apparent Suicide

Rita Hayworth Grandson Autopsy – Rita Hayworth’s grandson died of an apparent suicide, but the coroner who performed the autopsy on Andrew Embiricos said the results where inconclusive. Now the family and officials must wait on a toxicology report to see if there was any drugs or alcohol in his system. Investigators still believe that the cause of death was suicide.

Hayworth, who passed away at the age of 68 in 1987, was an actress and dancer who attained fame during the 1940s as one of the era’s top stars.

Hayworth appeared in 61 films over 37 years and is listed as one of the American Film Institute’s Greatest Stars of All Time.

The 25-year-old Embiricos who had a history of suicide attempts was found lying with a plastic bag over his head in his New York City apartment bed on Sunday morning.

His body was discovered by a friend, Aaron Edwards with no suicide letter left behind.

A graduate of Fordham University with a degree in psychology, Embiricos was the son of Rita Hayworth’s daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan and Greek shipping heir Basil Embiricos.

Embiricos had problems with Members of the Hayworth family early on, but he also had a troubling dark side that had recently overshadowed his famous heritage, including a reckless streak with “fewer sexual boundaries than Anna Nicole (Smith),” revealed friend and Village Voice blogger, Michael Musto.
