A British woman visiting New York and not familiar with the traffic flow in the United States, says that just as she was not paying attention and about to step out into a street with approaching traffic, actor Ryan Gosling rescued her and saved her life from being hit by a city cab by yelling and crabbing her.
Apparently, on Tuesday afternoon, the women, Laurie Penny was looking the wrong way down the street to see if traffic was coming, not remembering that traffic travels in the opposite direction, then in England, and started to try to cross the street when she saw no oncoming traffic.
The woman was pulled back when the man to be identified as Gosling, yelled at her too “watch out!” then grabbed a hold of her.
When another woman next to her said she was just saved by Ryan Gosling she immediately took to Twitter to tell friends what happened.
“I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. That actually just happened,” Penny wrote on Twitter. “I was crossing 6th Avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”
Penny added, “He did not say ‘hey, girl.’ He said ‘hey, watch out!’ Identity of … Ryan Gosling confirmed by girl near me, who said ‘you lucky b****.'”
