Actor Shia LaBeouf shows his all in “Fjögur Píanó,” video which was made for Sigur Rós’ new album, “Valtari.”
On June 18, the video was posted online and went viral, most likely due to viewer’s curiosity of the 26-year-old’s appearance.
Georg Holm, Sigur Rós bassist, told TMZ, “Icelandic people are not prudish about people being naked.”
Holm told the celebrity gossip site that he wasn’t sure what he thought about the seven-minute video at first, “because it is so full of ideas and confusion.” However, after he watched it a few more times he decided that he loves it.
“It seems to have no beginning and no end,” he said, “and just makes you think about what might and might not be going on.”
The video was shot by Tel Aviv born filmmaker Alma Har’el, who last year won the documentary feature prize at the Tribeca Film Festival for “Bombay Beach.”
She told the Wall Street Journal that Labeouf offered to be in the video; however, full-frontal nudity was not in the plans from the beginning. Apparently, it came up later and the overall consensus was to go with it.
