Jessica Simpson’s parents have finalized their divorce, like so many other couples in Hollywood. Their daughter fears that the divorce will ruin the family.
The reality is, Joe and Tina have had their troubles and a judge has ended the pair’s marriage officially.
The couple separated last September after 35 years of marriage. Soon after, in October, the couple announced that they were filing for a divorce. A spokesperson for the couple released a statement at the time that read, “The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.”
Details of how the former couple have split their combined fortune have not been released.

Earlier this year, it was said that the pair were fighting over financial rewards from their divorce.
Joe was apparently keen to move their case from Texas to Los Angeles as he believed the no-fault state would looked upon his indiscretions – such as being found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) – more favourably and give him a better financial outcome.
Although Tina had already offered Joe $100 million of her $300 million fortune, her estranged husband – who manages both Jessica and his other daughter Ashlee Simpson – still reportedly wanted more, including a bigger share of the profits gained from Jessica’s clothing line.
