For the most part, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, says he is not gay and that the rumor has is completely false. He also warns his Jersey Shore housemates of the seriousness and the implications surrounding the gossip.

However, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi claims he has questioned his own sexuality.

Both Snooki and co-house mate Jenni “JWoww” Farley said in an interview with HuffPost Gay Voices that they think he has not yet decided for himself if he is gay or not, but the signs are there.

“He brings it up,” JWoww said. “He’ll say, ‘People think I’m gay, and I don’t know what they’re talking about.’”

With Snooki adding to that comment, “He told me one time, ‘[All the talk is] making me wonder.’”

JWoww went on to explain how her best friend’s husband came out as gay after 27 years, saying, “So because of that I know…the signs.”

After finding out about the interview, he reportedly became very upset, with a source that is involved in the reality show saying to the Chicago Sun-Times, “Mike really ripped both Snooki and JWoww a new one.”

The source added that Sorrentino was concerned that implications of gay rumors would greatly affect his brand, which is geared towards straight men. Meanwhile, Sorrentino’s publicist stated in the paper, the interview by JWoww and Snooki is “the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard.”
