Slash Divorce Papers Filed

Slash divorce papers filed. Slash, Guns N’ Roses guitarist known as Saul Hudson, has filed for divorce from his wife of nine years. Slash filed for divorce from Perla Ferrar who married the Guns N’ Roses rock star in 2001.

Divorce is imminent for Slash. The Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist is breaking up with Perla Ferrar for good. Sources close to the couple say “the breakup is extremely acrimonious.”

The couple explains “irreconcilable differences” and they have two children together. Slash will be seeking both joint physical and legal custody. The couple separated on July 15, 2010.

They had no prenuptial agree and the 45-year-old is reportedly willing to pay spousal support. It seems every rose does have its thorn. Slash has received critical recognition as a guitarist. In August 2009, Time Magazine ranked him #2 on its list of the “10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time.” He was also ranked #21 on Gigwise’s list of the “50 Greatest Guitarists Ever.”
