Soap Opera star Tuc Watkins makes a big confession on Marie Osmond’s show, one that didn’t surprise some, but was news as he comes out and tells the world, he is gay.
Watkins, who also played a gay man on “Desperate Housewives,” felt relieved because at one point during the interview his hands were shaking.
Watkins’ interview with Osmond will air on Monday, the actor appeared very serious during his reveal, but as Softpedia suggests, it seemed a very “taxing” time for this soap star. Although some might say the man was cool, calm and collected talking about being a gay man who adopted kids after watching the video clip.

On “Desperate Housewives” Watkins played a gay man who was looking to start a family with his partner. In real life Watkins is a single parent to twins. The soap star knew very early on in life that he was gay.
“When I was young, I knew three things: I knew I was gay, I knew one day I was gonna be a dad, and I knew that Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was going to be the best movie of all time,” he told Osmond.
Watkins added, “So far I’ve been right about all three.” This handsome guy had a great sense of humor in his “Desperate Housewives” role. While soaps do have a comic line thrown into the script once in a while, “One Life to Live” never really showed him at his comic best. It was Walkins’ role in “Desperate Housewives” that showcased his comical side.
The Soap Opera star will always remember the day when he came out and stated who he really was.
