Steve Harvey Daytime Talk Show – The latest celebrity to get their own daytime talk show will be comedian Steve Harvey for NBCUniversal.
Along with the office of the governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn, NBC made the announcement on Monday. Along with the show being announced it was said the show will tape from an NBC studio in downtown Chicago and simply be called ‘Steve Harvey.’
Through his career, the 55-year-old Harvey, has been a comedian, actor, television and radio personality. He once had his own sitcom for the WB called ‘The Steve Harvey Show’ and was featured as one of the 4 comedian’s in Spike Lee’s infamous, ‘The Original Kings of Comedy’ movie. Currently, he host’s the newest version of the game show, ‘Family Feud,’ and host’s a Chicago radio show.
NBC described the new talk show as a “funny, fresh, insightful and common-sense approach to life’s everyday moments.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alex Duda, who once worked on ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ and shows Jerseylicious and Glam Fairy for the Style Network, will produce the new Harvey talk show.
Harvey will be very busy as plans are that he will continue to host ‘Family Feud,’ which tapes in Atlanta, and host his Chicago radio show, all while hosting his new talk show. The show will premiere this Fall.
