Suze Orman emergency surgery recovery. Orman is doing well after undergoing an appendectomy late Saturday night and is recovering. The emergency surgery went well and Suze Orman is currently staying at a hotel as she is taking a couple of days to rest.
“Suze went to Chicago to celebrate her birthday and didn’t expect to leave her appendix behind,” a CNBC spokesperson said in a statement. “Northwestern Hospital took great care of her. It was a great team of doctors and a successful surgery. She will be recuperating in Florida.”
Orman had been scheduled to appear on a “Women and Finance” panel Manhattan on Wednesday, but had to cancel. No word on when she’ll be back in the studio for CNBC. Orman spent the night in the hospital for her 59th birthday.
t seems like there’s an epidemic going on with television talk show hosts. Fox New Channel’s Glenn Beck had his appendix removed after an attack back in November. MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann had his removed in 2007. It’s hard to say who’s next, but it’s something that is greatly painful to go through.
