Basketball Wives reality star Tami Roman suffers a heart attack in Los Angles and is currently in Sinai Medical Center. Roman was taken to Sinai after complaining of pains in the chest around her heart during a VH1 Face to Face chat Monday night. The Basketball Wives star, 41, has garnered a reputation of a fiery personality through some confrontations she has had with some of her reality tv co-stars.
Her doctors have since sent her home an advised her to begin a stress-free recovery, which must include staying away from Twitter. She said she would be taking a break from the social networking for a bit to recover but not before she got in a few parting shots to her non-fans.
She tweeted to her less favorite followers, who she called, ‘haters’ to “get a life — I sure appreciate mine.”
She then thanked her real fans for their support by tweeting, “Thx 2every1 for the get well wishes. Never thought I’d have a mild heart attack at 41. God has a way of bringing things into perspective. Finally going home 2mykids-heart meds and all.”
The next season of ‘Basketball Housewives’ is also currently in the middle of taping, which would only mean that she will obviously be taking time away from and all the drama that comes with it.
Roman had been married to former NBA player Kenny Anderson from 1994 to 2001.
