Tebowie Unleashed By Jimmy Fallon “Late Night” Skit

Tebowie Jimmy Fallon – Tebowie has gone viral and this time Jimmy Fallon pays tribute to Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow while working with Tom Brady and the Patriots during a late-night skit on NBC.

The host of “Late Night” brought Tebow and David Bowie together as “Tebowie” Thursday and the results were interesting. Fallon, as “Tebowie,” performed a revised version of Bowie’s classic “Space Oddity” in which he sang: “Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ (as opposed to Bowie’s “Ground control to Major Tom”) … can’t win by myself but with your help I might.”

And later sings: “This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow, please leave me alone … I hear that you play New England next week. Dude you’re on your own. Brady is too good and I’ve got better things to do.”

But you never know, there could be an upset, but we know the Lord won’t take sides against his own cousin, even with Tebow on the other side. Unfortunately for Patriots’ fans, the Broncos are still alive in the playoff race by the end of the song.

During an episode hosted by Fallon, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” brought Brady, Bill Belichick, the Good Lord and Tebow together last month. In that skit, Jesus (played by Jason Sudeikis) referred to Belichick with devil horns and called Brady “God’s nephew.”

In case you forgot – the Broncos and Patriots are playing Saturday at 8 p.m. in an AFC Divisional playoff game. The Patriots still haven’t won a playoff game since Jan. 20, 2008. It’s too bad football sometimes gets in the way of pop culture.

We expected another “Late Night” skit this week on Tim Tebow, but we didn’t think they would come up with something called “Tebowie,” which seems quite cute.
