T.I. Arrested For Drug Possession

T.I. arrested for drug possession. T.I. and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle have been arrested for drug possession. Police arrested T.I. after officers smelled marijuana in his vehicle.

Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle have been arrested for drug possession. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies stopped T.I. and Tiny as they were driving on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle.

The hip-hop star and his wife were taken into custody in West Hollywood, California. They remained in custody as of press time and are scheduled to make an appearance at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court on Friday. Bail was set at $10,000.

The arrest news is particularly bad for T.I. fans, as he’s is on probation after serving time in prison on weapons possession charges last year. He served seven months behind bars at a Federal Correction Institution in Arkansas last year. The singer and his wife were married on July 30 and the rapper-turned-actor is fresh off the success of his film Takers, which debuted at No. 1 over the weekend.
