New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has a new girlfriend. Say hello to actress Camilla Belle. The new couple were seen bowling with friends in Jacksonville, Florida Tuesday.
What’s more interesting is that the Jacksonville Jaguars are trying to trade him to the team as their quarterback. A deal might be lurking soon.
Belle, 26, has appeared in dozens of feature films and television shows, and dated Joe Jonas of “The Jonas Brothers.” Her film credits include “When a Stranger Calls,” “The Patriot,” and she starred in the video for her former boyfriend’s single “Lovebug” in 2008. They split up just a year later.
Tebow, 25, is best known as a Heisman winner and Christian activist. Speculation has Tebow ousting incumbent starter Mark Sanchez unless the 3-5 Jets can turn their season around. However, he was in Jacksonville this week and there is news that the NFL team wants him as their starting quarterback.
“Tim and Camilla were overly affectionate throughout the evening, holding hands and touching,” an insider said.
In a new interview with Vogue magazine, Tebow listed his top requirements for a girlfriend.
“Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there’s also so much more than that for me. It’s about finding someone sweet and kind – and that has a servant’s heart,” he told Vogue. “It’s about finding a girl who likes me for me, and not because of what I do or who I am or the name.”
Belle has some pretty high standards to meet, as the footballer is notoriously picky with the ladies.
Tebow says that it all stems from the three leading ladies in his life.
“I’ve been blessed to have an amazing mom and two amazing sisters–so they set a very high standard,” he explains. And Belle better be keen for kids, as the NFL player reveals that he can’t wait to be a dad. “I definitely, definitely want a family,” Tebow says in
