The unreleased Britney Spears song that was leaked online on May 9 is called “Love,” which was recorded in 2011. It’s believed to have been intended for Spears’ 2007 album “Blackout.”
However, it didn’t get recorded until four years later, but the song still didn’t make it on an album.
Even though the YouTube video lists the song as being titled ‘Welcome to Me,’ various sources on the Net — including DigitalSpy – say that the song title is actually ‘Love.’ A snippet of the song was once leaked but this video contains the full song, although still in a somewhat raw, unfinished form.
“Love” is a sultry R&B dance-floor anthem with a cabaret vibe. “You got me thinking about things I’d do to your body,” Spears croons. “I can almost taste your lips. I can feel how you want me.”
Not much information is available on the track, other than it was possibly written by Sean Garrett, who wrote Britney’s 2007 song “Toy Soldier.”
