Christmas Tree FarmsChristmas Tree FarmsTwo Saginaw County tree farms say they are entering the two busiest weekends of the year — the weekend after Thanksgiving and the first weekend of December.

At Kluck Nursery in Thomas Township and Giacoletti Christmas Tree Farm in St. Charles, families come for generations for the experience of getting a tree.

Both farms offer hot drinks and warming fires for guests.

“That’s the whole tradition,” said Rob Thomas, retail manager at Kluck Nursery, last week.. “It’s nice that people still do those things.”

For many families, it’s time to pick out the Christmas tree.

You can find the same trees that are grown by professional farmers like these at Home Depot, Lowes, or in the Walmart parking lot near the white tent.
