Time Change Fall 2011 – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s ordered that the Fall 2011 time change not happen.
He ordered that his people skip it causing confusion when many computers and smartphones made the switch automatically.
A Moscow newspaper reported many people complained of missing morning appointments and train service to Ukraine.
It has been altered as a result of confusion caused when computers and phones automatically set their clocks back by an hour Sunday despite Medvedev’s March order for the Fall time change of 2011 to be ignored.
Medvedev, who announced last month that he will be stepping down with the intention of trading places with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin after the March elections, said he decided to eliminate the Fall time change to reduce stress on the populace caused by turning back the clocks.
Russian Railways said that the lack of switch will cause 42 trains to Ukraine to run an hour late until early December.
