Google has added a new search feature that lets users changing rankings, delete and post comments. The new feature is called SearchWiki. Users have to be signed into their Google account to add comments or change the rank on the search results.

Google Inc on Thursday launched a new service called SearchWiki. The feature lets users post comments, re-rank results or remove a site that isn't of interest. Users can also read comments about a Web site that are posted by others.

While the feature is new, it was disabled for some people on Friday and Saturday. Google is still testing the feature which seems to be working for everyone at this time.

When logged into their Google account, Internet users can reshuffle search results to personalize their rankings. Critics are skeptical about the new features because Google users will no longer see the same search results.

For instance, one user could remove the top site in their search results. Another user could re-rank the top site be display on the second page of the listings. The personalized feature does not affect search results for other users.

SearchWiki is the latest powerful tool from Google. The search engine company is increasingly providing more dynamic tools for users. Google provided the feature because they believe it will make Internet searches more useful.
