Cocaine Changing Tables – Tests were performed on 100 public changing tables In the UK and researchers found that 92% of them contained traces of cocaine.
In North West England, the group Reel Radio journalists from a local station decided to perform the study last month after it was announced that the UK is the drug capitol of the world.
Though they’ll admit that are no real scientists, they did use specialized wipes to swap public changing tables in places such as churches, hospitals, shopping stores, police departments, and courts to get their results.
“Considering that money (and plenty of other things we touch) are coated in traces of the drug too, it seems unlikely that the contamination is solely due to addicts doing lines off of Koala Kare changing stations. Though, you should still be cautious about putting your precious child directly on those tables, because according to our scientific research they’re coated in baby poop,” according to Margaret Hartmann, one of the ones involved in the research.
Cocaine’s effects can last from 15-30 minutes to an hour, depending upon the method of ingestion as it is a powerful nervous system stimulant.
Cocaine can increase alertness, with a feeling of well-being and euphoria, energy and motor activity. A user will also have feelings of competence and sexuality. Athletic performance can be enhanced in sports as the drug can give a user a sustained attention and endurance.
Some more frequent downside effects include anxiety, restlessness and paranoia. Excessive use seen in addicts are tremors, convulsions and increased body temperature.
