Information On 2010 Honda Hybrid Cars
Several consumers who drive Honda Hybrids are reporting more than average mileage with their cars. The Honda cars are equipped with new hybrid power technologies that combine an electric motor and gasoline engine. This system can achieve a significant MPG rating for drivers.
The new 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid can achieve 40 mpg in the city, 43 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA rating. However, some drivers say they can achieve as much as 55 mpg as long as they do not drive the car aggressively. To be fair, this is probably the same for the Toyota Prius and Ford Fusion, depending on the driving habits.
Honda is developing new vehicles that are revolutionizing what consumers think about the purchase of a new generation automobile. The cars offer consumers exactly what they want because they offer great gas mileage and low pollution outputs. The automaker continuously develops and works on advancements in the technology they use so they can provide consumers with better models each year.
One of the keys to Honda's success is creating combustion power that allows the use of a smaller engine in an effort to achieve lower fuel usage. In addition, these new vehicles are built by a company that has succeeded a high reputation for building engines over the past half century. The Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) is the electric motor that supplies additional power and torque while working in conjunction with the gasoline engine.
Honda automobiles are also designed to be similar to its conventional gas versions. The automaker attempts to do this as much as possible in an effort not to lose quality that has given the automaker praises in the first place. Consumer Guide, the leading publisher of authoritative car reviews, praises Honda Accord for being the "Best Buy" of midsize cars.
In addition, Honda still holds the record for the most selling car of all time. Whether or not this will hold true with its newer fuel efficient cars are still unknown since the market is so new. One thing for sure, the auto industry is moving once again, and car manufacturers are in the race facing fierce competition.
Honda cars are selling fast in the global market with proven reliability. The 2010 Insight offers the lowest price of any new hybrid of its class. Consumers are convinced of its affordable price over competitors that are $4,000 more to buy.
The Insight is very futuristic, and the Eco dashboard display teaches you how to drive conservatively, reducing your gas consumption and actually scoring your driving. The new fuel-efficient Civic and Fit will also be released next year. One thing for certain, Honda cars are a growing fleet of vehicles.
