Apple Releases iPhone Update To Include Map Enhancements

Several new features are in the new Apple iPhone 2.2 update. Public transit and walking directions have been added to the smart phone. The update improves e-mail and addresses resolution issues to wide HTML mail formatting.

The new iPhone update offers a set of new features for owners of the Apple mobile phone. Maps are now enhanced to which are to Google Street View. Apple iPhone users can now download podcasts from the iTunes store using WiFi.

Apple Inc has released the latest version of its iPhone software. The update offers a variety of improvements for the Apple iPhone. The update is version 2.2 and is now available.

The iPhone 2.2 version includes map enhancements that are similar to Google Street View. Some of the new features include public transit and walking directions. The update also has a new dropped pin address feature for display and location sharing via e-mail.

Some of the mail improvements address resolution issues when fetching mail and properly formatting wide HTML output. Podcasts can now be downloaded via iTunes from the WiFI connection on the smart phone.

Mobile phone users can now experience better visual voicemail. The voicemail now has improved sound quality. The Home button now navigates to the Home screen from any menu selection.

The Apple iPhone version 2.2 also includes a new keyboard setting to toggle auto-correction. Apple also addressed call setup failures and the problem with dropped mobile calls.
