BlackBerry mobile phones can now use a new application called Homes for Sale to search which is location-aware. The new RIM app is a free download and is the first consumer-based real estate application.
Smarter Agent on Friday announced a new real estate search application for RIM BlackBerry mobile phones. The mobile device application is called Homes for Sale and is available on all major carriers.
"Not only is Homes for Sale the first consumer-based real estate application that is available for download for the Blackberry, but it is also the only real estate application on Blackberry that is personally branded to brokers and agents for distribution to their clients," a spokesperson said in a statement.
Homes for Sale enables users search for properties directly from their RIM BlackBerry mobile phones. The application uses GPS technology to provide results, or users can enter a city, state, address or zip code. The free mobile application even offers pictures of properties and a comprehensive map.
"Smarter Agent instantly returns all publically allowable information, including the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the price, the square footage, the estimated mortgage, taxes, property details – even pictures. A comprehensive map also lets the user see where they are in relation to the homes," the spokesperson aid.
The application can be downloaded to a consumers cell phone for free by visiting http://www.smarteragent.com/blackberry. Smarter Agent has also partnered with some of the top real estate brokerages, as well as individual brokers and agents around the country, who are able to provide links to branded versions of the Homes for Sale application for consumer download.
The search and its GPS functionality makes the application smart, fast and reliable. It is one of the BlackBerry mobile applications you need.
