Quality Design and Great Fuel Mileage for 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

The 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid made by the Ford Motor Company is still a remarkable hybrid car. The previous models of the 2010 Fusion have all been consistent with proven reliability. However, the new vehicle is still the most fuel efficient midsize hybrid car on the market.

Consumers are using government incentives and other tax credits as one of the ways to afford a new hybrid automobile. The new Fusion has gone through many changes from previous models, but it still maintains great mileage, and it is a lot sportier than ever before. It's a nice car that provides plenty of comfort and seating.

While most consumers prefer fuel economy as the most important aspect over future graphic displays and styling, this Ford vehicle offers both, and at a very competitive price. I have personally tested most of the 2010 hybrids, but I was more impressed with the Fusion than any other car. It is larger and more comfortable, in my opinion. This car might not have a 50 mpg rating, but you can achieve more using proper driving techniques.

The Ford Fusion has a graphical dashboard and feedback system. This system is designed to coach and score you based on your driving habits. You can achieve greater fuel economy by using slower acceleration and proper braking. In terms of braking, my old driving habits led me to brake too soon, wasting energy and fuel. I was also a fast-pedal driver where I liked to always beat the other vehicle next to me at a stop light. These habits were just something that grew on me over the years.

With the 2010 Fusion, it offers you a challenge to drive more efficiently in an effort to extend mileage. The instrument panel reminds me of the Ford Contour, it is lightweight, small, and has a simple design. However, the new panel lights up in different shades of colors so that it separates each dialog, such as the fuel gauge and coaching system.

The instrument panel will draw leaves in 3D when you improve your gas mileage. This is an area that is shown on each side of the main instruments. It is easy to identify and is not something that will interfere with your driving. It can display real-time statistics and will score you either high or low depending on your driving skills.

Most of all, this instrument panel will improve your driving efficiency over time. The more you score, the higher your mpg rating will be. Ford has conducted public mileage tests using the 2010 Ford Fusion where they achieved more than 1,445 miles on one tankful. This averages out to be about 80 mpg.

You might look like grandma on the road at times, with people going around you because you're using slow acceleration, but you will become a smart driver and will save money on gas. As gas prices begin to soar to record highs, as they did during the summer of 2008, you will be in great shape in this hybrid car. It just doesn't make sense anymore to keep buying gasoline for simple driving.

The times are changing now where the new fuel efficient vehicles are getting larger, and gas prices are on the rise. The new Ford car will even drive up to 47 mph on battery electricity without using a drop of gasoline. This will help you save money on gas. Overall, the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid is the best car for comfort and room.
