A 5-year-old VA boy became enraged over a juice box and stabbed three people.
Police authorities in Greene County were called to a mobile home park in Ruckersville on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:25 P.M..
According to Greene County Sheriff Steve Smith, a 5-year-old child used an edged object to stab an adult and two children. Neighbors of the young boy said that the altercation began over a juice box; however, that has not been confirmed by police.
All the stab victims had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. It appears that one of the young victims is a relative of the 5-year-old who is currently in police custody undergoing an evaluation; it is unknown if the minor will face any criminal charges.
Nikoma Collins, a neighbor of the child stated that the boy seemed to be a “happy-go-lucky little dude.” However, other neighbors have reported that the child has a problem controlling his angry, and that he has been seen being physically abusive to his mother.
